Anthony Gell School LogoMiddleton Community Primary SchoolCarsington & Hopton Primary SchoolBonsall C of E Aided Primary SchoolAnthony Gell is a relatively small, rural, 11-18 comprehensive school serving the community of Wirksworth and its surrounding villages.  We take students from Middleton, Cromford, Bonsall, Brassington, Kirk Ireton, Carsington & Hopton, Turnditch, Wirksworth and Crich Carr schools as well as a significant number from outside our catchment area.

Most of our feeder primary schools are small village schools with the exception of Wirksworth Juniors who are significantly larger. Our cluster also includes Alderwasley Hall Special School who have pupils aged 5-19yrs.
