Matalan Top Sport Training Hits the Mark

Teachers and teaching assistants from ten schools in the Dales & High Peak attended the Matalan Top Sport Training for Key Stage 2 pupils in November.

The day flew past with the tutor from Leeds Met University, Paul Ogilvy, supported by Highfields School Sport Coordinator, Jayne Allen, talking the group through the Matalan sponsored resource pack of activity cards.

The ideas for small games and activities which develop core movement skills such as balance, speed and co-ordination were welcomed enthusiastically by the group.
